"Thanks again, I had a great time," she said with a soft smile and her eyes turned down. "I did too. See you soon," he said as he gave her a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Bye…" she whispered. Key in the lock. Turn. Click. Butterflies.

She practically floated into her apartment. "He’s amazing," she thought. "Handsome. Great personality. Totally has his stuff together." "I can’t wait to see him again."

Layla walked into the kitchen to feed Dyna, her four-year old Burmese cat. "Hello, Dyna girl. How are you doing this fine, fine evening?" she said as she did a little twirl before opening the cupboard. Dyna meowed as if to answer her back. "Oh. I’m better than good. I’m fabulous," Layla said happy as ever. Butterflies rushed to her stomach again. Layla smiled. She was happy. Sure it was new. He was new. The feelings were new. But she felt this was it. He was different somehow. Different from the others. Special. That’s it. Unlike anyone she’s ever met. Now, to just see him again.
